Joyce Krane Australia is based in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia and has over the last fifty years become the regional heavy lifting and logistics specialist of choice. The family business was first established in Karratha in 1974 by Mick Joyce and is now managed by his two sons James (Operations Manager) & Sean (Commercial Director).

The headquarters are in Karratha and there is a second Pilbara operation west along the coast in Onslow. There is Perth operation in Kewdale and a Sydney operation based at St Marys. A Heavy Lift Division (based in Kewdale) provides a national service operating Australia wide working mainly in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.

The Joyce Krane Australia experience extends across a wide variety of industries that includes Oil & Gas, Mining, Maritime, Infrastructure, Construction (Industrial, Defence and Residential) and Renewable Energy (Wind Farms). Major clients include Chevron, Rio Tinto, BHP, Laing O’Rourke, Georgiou Group, Clough, Vestas, Siemens Energy, Goldwind, Qube, Toll, Bechtel and Technip.

Over the years, Joyce Krane Australia has successfully planned and completed many specialised heavy lifts in some of Australia’s most challenging environments (ie: remote mine sites, windfarms). In more recent years Joyce Krane Australia has focussed on improving its engineering support and the engineering information provided to its customers which has resulted in high quality lift studies that can be easily read by all personnel and customer projects being completed incident free, on time and within budget.
