Joyce Krane Australia has a long history of supplying crane services to major projects in Australia that all began in the Pilbara region of Western Australia when in the mid-seventies Mick Joyce first started suppling his crane services to the construction projects that built the critical infrastructure for the iron ore miners Hamersley Iron and Robe River.
As the mining companies grew, they continued to increase the size of their operations and in the early eighties a new Oil & Gas company, Woodside Offshore started the construction of their Burrup Peninsula project near Karratha. Mick Joyce’s Karratha operation was there to support those early Oil & Gas construction phases that also included more recently Chevron’s Wheatstone onshore facility in Onslow.
Joyce Krane Australia continues to focus on supporting major Australian Infrastructure, Construction, Defence and Renewable Energy (Windfarms) projects with its 100% owned heavy lift cranes, support cranes and other equipment. The addition of an experienced Engineering Support Team has added value to Joyce Krane Australia’s crane services by being able to work well in advance with customer project engineers so as to determine the safest and most cost-efficient methods to deliver heavy lift crane services in often challenging environments.
