CRANE HIRE SILVERWATER

Mobile Crane Hire in Silverwater

Silverwater packs one of Sydney’s hardest working industrial precincts into a bend of the Parramatta River. Fabricators, printers, food plants, equipment hire yards and specialist workshops sit shoulder to shoulder, which makes for constant crane work in tight yards: steel out of fab shops, machines between units, generators and switchboards onto pads, and plant onto rooftops.

It is an easy patch for us to service, straight down the M4 from St Marys and off at Silverwater Road. Frannas and city cranes do most of the precinct’s work, and when a heavier single lift comes up, the all terrain fleet is on the same run with engineering support to plan it.

HOW IT WORKS

Wet Hire vs Dry Crane Hire

One of the first decisions on any project,  and Joyce Krane offers both from Sydney.

Wet Hire Pic

Wet Crane Hire

What we call taxi crane hire: the crane arrives with our own licensed operator and crew. The simplest, safest option for most one-off lifts.

Dry Crane Hire

You hire the crane and supply your own appropriately licensed operator. Best for established contractors needing a machine for an extended period.

FAQ

Crane Hire Silverwater: Common Questions

Crane hire in Silverwater is priced on the crane size, how long the lift takes, site access, and whether you need wet hire (crane with our licensed crew) or dry hire. Silverwater’s yards are compact, so the quoting question is usually which crane fits the yard rather than which crane lifts the weight. Most bookings run on a minimum hire period, and travel from our St Marys depot is quoted honestly for Silverwater rather than padded. Call 1300 956 923 for a fixed price.

Lifting from private property in Silverwater usually needs no permit. If the crane must set up on a road, footpath or laneway, a road occupancy or standing plant approval from City of Parramatta is generally required, along with traffic control, and Transport for NSW approval can apply on classified roads. We arrange the permits, traffic management and lift plan as part of the job.

Our Sydney depot at St Marys is about 34 km by road from Silverwater, about 30 to 45 minutes. One M4 exit covers the whole precinct, so Silverwater is among our quickest western Sydney responses. For urgent and after-hours work, our 24/7 emergency crane service covers Silverwater as well.

Almost always. City cranes and Frannas are built for exactly this, and where a yard genuinely will not take a crane we lift from the street with traffic control, or reach over the building from the next frontage. A quick look on foot settles it before quote stage.
